IMPORTANT TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Feb. 3 2:30 p.m. - The Virginia Department of Transportation reports that all lanes of Interstate 81 at Exit 245, both directions, have been closed due to a severe accident. All fans attending today's game can still use Exit 245 on I-81 but should anticipate significant delays. Consider using other routes.
Fans parking in any reserved or general lots on East Campus traveling Southbound on I-81 can use Exit 247-A onto E. Market St to University Blvd. Fans traveling Northbound can use Exit 243 to US-11 North to the Stone Spring Rd. Bypass with access to the Convo via Port Republic Road or Reservoir St.
Fans parking on West Campus in the G or P general lots traveling Southbound can use I-81 to Exit 247-B onto E. Market St to Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd with access to campus via Paul St. Northbound traffic can use I-81 to Exit 243 to US-11 North with access to campus via Main St & the Quad.
On Saturday, February 3, James Madison men's basketball hosts Towson in a 4 p.m. contest for the men's team's only Duke Dog Reading Day of the 2017-18 season.
High-volume traffic is expected for the game. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, allowing extra time for parking and entry into the JMU Convocation Center. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.

Only men's basketball parking pass holders may access the reserved Convo lots (Convo A, B, C, D, E), beginning at 2 p.m. General parking for the men's basketball game will be available in designated campus lots (Convo F, Festival C11 & C12, R10/11, P, G). Those general parking lots closest to the JMU Convocation Center will fill quickly.
In addition to the nearby general parking available at Convo F lot, shuttles will be running from lots C11, C12 and R10/11 beginning at 2 p.m. and ending one hour after the game is completed. Lot R10 is located off Port Republic Road adjacent to the northbound I-81 exit with shuttle service departing from the front of the lot. Lots C11 and C12 are located near the JMU Festival Conference and Student Center with shuttle service departing from the bus stop across from the Festival Conference Center.
With construction going on near F Lot, fans are urged to utilize the Festival Lots and R10/11 Lots and take the available shuttles to the Convo.
Parking for individuals with an accessible hangtag or license plate is available in the Convo G lot with shuttle service beginning at 2 p.m. to the Convocation Center. Patrons with a reserved parking pass and an accessible hangtag or license plate can access the limited accessible parking in the Convo R lot.
Additional parking is also available in G Lot and P Lot, located on campus off Bluestone Drive. There is no shuttle service from these lots, but the JMU Convocation Center is easily accessed via Duke Dog Alley. Please click here to see a map of campus for locations of these additional lots.

DUKE DOG READING DAY
Saturday is the second Duke Dog Reading Day of three scheduled for this season (two for women's basketball, one for men's basketball). Students in pre-Kindergarten to fifth grade from 46 schools participated in the program and received tickets to the game after meeting their reading requirements.
