Select games, primarily in football and basketball, can appear on the ESPN family of linear networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU).
Information about access to ESPN+ and purchasing subscriptions is available at plus.espn.com. Viewers are recommended to install the ESPN app on eligible devices.
Television coverage for football games is released on Monday, 12 days prior to each game. All game times are listed as to-be-determined (TBD) until TV selections are announced.
JMU productions on ESPN+ are the byproduct of the JMU Sports Network, operated by Director of Live Productions Kelly Bowmaster with support from a large team of students. The @JMUSportsNet Twitter account promotes all aspects of network coverage. In 2023, a new broadcast control room opened to allow JMU to broadcast all sports from the Atlantic Union Bank Center. Students interested in getting involved with JMU Sports Network productions are encouraged to contact Kelly Bowmaster at bowmaskt@jmu.edu.
