HARRISONBURG, Va. — The James Madison women's basketball team fell 80-60 Thursday evening to a hot-shooting Drexel team at the Atlantic Union Bank Center. The Dukes fall to 13-15 (9-8 CAA) while the Dragons improve to 24-3 (16-1 CAA).
Drexel shot 57.1% (32-56) from the floor, the best field goal percentage of any JMU opponent thus far this season. The Dragons also shot 54.5% from three-point range as they knocked down 12 treys, also an opponent season high against the Dukes.
JMU ended the night with a field goal percentage of 35.7 (20-56) and a disappointing three-point percentage of 12.5 (2-16).

Fourth Quarter: Drexel 80, JMU 60
- Both teams scored 25 points in the final frame.
- Drexel's Hannah Nihill went a perfect 5-of-5 from the floor, including 3-of-3 from long range, to tally 15 of her game-high 23 points in the fourth.
- The Dukes saw their best shooting in the final frame as they recorded a field goal percentage of 64.3 (9-14).
- However, it wasn't enough to top Drexel's fourth quarter shooting percentage of 76.9 (10-13).
