HARRISONBURG, Va. – The James Madison men's basketball program signed Illinois transfer Brandon Lee on Friday afternoon.
Lee spent his freshman year at Illinois, contributing to a Fighting Illini team that advanced to the Final Four of the 2026 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship. He played in 18 games for Illinois and will have three years of eligibility remaining at JMU.
"Brandon brings a winning pedigree after playing on college basketball's biggest stage," Spradlin said. "He comes from a family of winners and completed an impressive prep career against some of the nation's top talent. He is a physical scoring guard who will fit perfectly with the players that we have assembled so far this offseason."
