Collingwood was one of the top volleyball players in JMU history, earning four straight First Team All-CAA and First Team All-State honors. She was the 1996 CAA Rookie of the Year and followed it with the 1999 CAA Player of the Year, CAA Tournament MVP and VaSID Player of the Year honors after leading the Dukes to their first of two straight Colonial Athletic Association championships and first consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. Leading JMU to a 90-36 mark during her four-year career, she holds the JMU career records for kills, kill average, attempts, aces and ace average while also ranking int he top 10 in games played, digs and dig average. She ranks in JMU's top 10 ranks for seven single season statistics 25 times, more than any other player in history, including single season marks for kills, attempts and kill average.
