Nora Maguire White was a JMU lacrosse standout from 1989-92 and before the 2008 season remained seventh in team history in goals (138), tied for seventh in assists (61) and sixth in total points (199).Maguire White holds the JMU game record of nine assists, and she was an All-America in 1991 and 1992, an honorable mention All-America in 1990, and a four-time all-region and a three-time all-league choice. She was player of the year in the South Atlantic Conference in 1991 and in the Colonial Athletic Association in 1992, a four-time member of the U.S. Squad, and a member of the 1991 U.S. Under-23 Team.
