A standout member of the men's swimming and diving team from 1993-97, Frost was the CAA Swimmer fo the Year and JMU's Male Athlete of the Year as a senior in 1997. He was the 1994 CAA Rookie of the Year as a freshman and a two-time CAA Most Outstanding Meet Performer in 1995 and 1997, helping the Dukes to four conseuctive CAA and three ECAC crowns. Individually, he won the CAA 100 breaststroke in each of his four years and advanced to the NCAA meet in two events his senior year, finishing 25th in the 100 breaststroke and 26th in the 200 breaststroke. He later went on to be a member of the coaching staff from 1999-2001, helping direct the Dukes to the CAA Championship during the 2000-01 campaign.
