Game Plan
- James Madison hits the road to take on in-state rival William and Mary on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. inside Kaplan Arena at William and Mary Hall.

Scouting Report
- JMU enters Saturday with a 9-7 overall record and 2-1 mark in CAA play while William and Mary is 8-6 on the season and 2-1 in league play. The Dukes are 2-2 on the road this season while the Tribe sports a perfect 6-0 record at Kaplan Arena.
- This is the 88th meeting all-time between the two programs in a series dating back 38 seasons. JMU leads it 48-39 but W&M holds a 22-16 advantage on its home court. Last season, the Tribe swept the season series, including an 81-79 win in Harrisonburg on Feb. 2, 2014.
- In that game, Marcus Thornton poured in a game-high 26 points and drained six 3-pointers for the Tribe. William and Mary hit 62 percent (13-21) of its long-range tries and finished 55.8 percent from the floor while limited the Dukes to 42.2 percent shooting and 36.8 percent from beyond the arc. The Dukes were led by Andrey Semenov, who had 23 points after hitting five 3-pointers while Andre Nation contributed 18 points.
- Last time out for the Dukes, Northeastern rallied from a 10-point, second-half deficit to down JMU 65-59 Thursday at the JMU Convocation Center. The Huskies limited JMU to 33 percent shooting in the second half and used a 13-0 run in the final stanza to pull ahead for good.
- Quincy Ford led all players with a game-high 19 points and Scott Eatherton had his fifth double-double of the year with 13 points and 13 rebounds for NU. JMU was led by Winston Grays, who drained three triples and finished with a team-best 15 points off the bench. Yohanny Dalembert had 13 points and Ron Curry added 10.
- Comparing the two teams in Saturday's matchup, William and Mary leads the CAA in both shooting offense and defense as it shoots 48.2 percent while limiting opponents to 39.3 percent shooting. JMU converts 43.8 percent of the time and its opponents shoot 43.2 percent. The Tribe also bring in the league's top scoring defense, allowing just 61.6 points per game while JMU allows 65.9. W&M holds the advantage on the boards, with a plus-3.9 rebounding edge, as opposed to JMU's minus-1.0.
- Players to watch are JMU's Yohanny Dalembert and W&M's Marcus Thornton. Dalembert leads JMU with 10.8 points per game and 5.4 rebounds as he has produced 10 double-figure scoring outings, which includes all three CAA games. He averages greater than 8.0 points more per game from his rookie campaign. Thornton, the CAA Preseason Player of the Year, is second in the CAA with 19.3 points per game and shoots 47.3 percent from the floor. He is also a top-5 3-point shooter in the league, converting 44.6 percent of the time.
