HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison University will welcome its 2018 Athletics Hall of Fame Class consisting of six individuals and one team with an official induction ceremony to be held on Friday, November 9 in the grand ballroom of the new Hotel Madison at 6 p.m.

The
previously announced class includes football's Steve Bates (1986-1989) and Akeem Jordan (2003-2006), wrestler Brian Kurlander (1984-1988), Shannon Saunders Noe (2002-2006) of cross country and track and field and Paula Schuler Flamm (1987-1991) and Tamera Young (2004-2008), both of women's basketball. JMU will induct its third team of distinction by enshrining the 1981-82 men's basketball squad.

Tickets for the event are
on sale now at JMUTickets.com. Advance tickets purchased before August 1 are $35 each or $280 for a table of eight. After August 1, ticket prices increase to $45 per person or $360 per table.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with seating and welcome at 6:45 p.m. and a buffet dinner at 7 p.m. Programming for the official induction begins at 7:30 p.m.

Inductees will also be recognized during JMU's home football game the next day, Nov. 10, against Rhode Island.
Season tickets for 2018 JMU football are on sale now with individual game tickets scheduled to be available in the summer.

Hotel Madison will open in May and is now accepting future reservations.
