HARRISONBURG, Va. -The James Madison Duke Club has hired
McKenna Kendrick as the department's Director of Special Events and Donor Stewardship, as announced by Senior Associate Athletic Director of Development
Justin Jannuzzi.

McKenna Kendrick to the Duke Club team," Jannuzzi said. "She has a great passion for JMU and serving others, which are some of the many qualities she brings to the position. Her role of managing successful special events and providing excellent donor stewardship are key components to our future success. Our donors will really enjoy working with McKenna."
As the Director of Special Events and Donor Stewardship, Kendrick is responsible for overseeing all Duke Club events with an emphasis on cultivating, stewarding and increasing the donor base.
"I am beyond thrilled and thankful for the opportunity to be back at JMU working with the Duke Club. JMU is a very special place and the Duke Club is an awesome team; so I am looking forward to amazing things ahead," Kendrick said.
Kendrick most recently concluded a stint as the Conference Services manager with Hotel Madison in Harrisonburg from December of 2017 through the end of 2018. While at Hotel Madison, she was responsible for planning, coordinating and executing in-house related activities and events.
From December of 2016 through December of 2017, Kendrick was the owner of 3:5 Productions which was a limited liability corporation that specialized in project and event management, operations, travel logistics, and hospitality. A few of her distinguished clients include Blue Ridge Sports and Entertainment, High Major Sports, and Full Circle Marketing.
Kendrick received a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University in Sport and Recreation Management with a Business minor. Following her graduation in May of 2016, Kendrick was an Athletics Marketing Assistant from August of 2016 through January of 2017 with JMU Athletics.
