The James Madison Dukes travel to Towson on Sunday, Jan. 16 for a 2 p.m. tip-off.
The Dukes arrive at SECU Arena following a 59-57 win over Elon on Sunday, Jan. 9 in Harrisonburg, Va.
Kiki Jefferson led JMU with 22 points and nine rebounds while Annalicia Goodman recorded her second-straight double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Claire Neffwas the third Duke to finish in double digits with 10 points.
The Dukes outrebounded the Phoenix 45-25 for their largest rebounding margin of the season.
Jefferson leads JMU in scoring with 17.9 points per game followed by Jamia Hazell with 12.6.
Jaylin Carodine is the top rebounder for the Dukes, pulling down 9.4 boards per outing.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Towson enters Sunday's game following a 68-54 loss to Princeton on Wednesday, Jan. 12.
The Tigers have only suffered one other loss so far this season to nationally-ranked NC State (100-52 on Nov. 15).
Towson has three players averaging double-digit points, led by Aleah Nelson with 17.1 per game. Allie Kubek adds 15.5 points per outing followed by Anissa Rivera with 12.8.
Rivera is also the Tigers' leading rebounder with 7.5 boards per night.
Prior to Wednesday night's loss, Towson was on an eight-game winning streak.
The Tigers currently boast an 18.6 scoring margin to lead the conference.
Towson also leads the conference in rebounding as they average 45 per game.
SERIES HISTORY
JMU leads 46-7 in the all-time series against Towson.
In the last meeting between the two programs, the Tigers came out on top, 83-74, on Feb. 10, 2021 at SECU Arena.
The first time the two teams played against each other was on Mar. 10, 1923. Towson won the contest 31-20 at home.
