WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The James Madison women's basketball team used a big third quarter to come back from an 18-point deficit and top William & Mary 64-58 Sunday afternoon at Kaplan Arena. The Dukes end the day at 11-10 (6-3 CAA) while the Tribe's record falls to 6-14 (1-8 CAA).
JMU trailed 33-25 at the half, but used a 21-point third quarter to hold a two-point edge heading into the final frame.
Kiki Jefferson scored a career-high 32 points to lead the Dukes to their second-straight win.
Jaylin Carodine added 14 points and
Jamia Hazell chipped in eight.

Annalicia Goodman led JMU on the boards with nine rebounds.
- Carodine added six rebounds, a career-high six steals and three assists.
- Jefferson also had a solid day on the glass with seven boards.
- The Dukes ended the game shooting 48.9% (22-45) from the floor while W&M shot 42.3% (22-52).
First Quarter: W&M 23, JMU 13
- The Tribe shot 58.8% (10-17) from the floor while the Dukes made just 5-of-12 for 41.7%.
- JMU was held scoreless in the last two minutes while W&M went on a 6-0 run.
Second Quarter: W&M 33, JMU 25
- William & Mary opened second quarter with back-to-back triples to take a 29-13 lead.
- The Tribe continued on an 8-0 run to go up by 18 points.
- JMU scored their first bucket of the frame at 7:17 with a layup by Jefferson.
- The Dukes then went on a 12-2 run for the remainder of the quarter to cut their deficit to eight.
Third Quarter: JMU 46, W&M 44
- JMU outscored the Tribe 21-11 in the third to erase their deficit and end the third quarter on top.
- The Dukes used a 10-2 run to take their first lead since the opening minutes of the game and take a two-point advantage heading into the fourth.
Fourth Quarter: JMU 64, W&M 58
- The fourth quarter went back and forth as the score was tied five times.
- However, the Dukes outscored W&M once again in the final quarter, 18-14.
- Jefferson poured in 12 points in the last 10 minutes of the game as she went 5-for-5 from the charity stripe.
