HARRISONBURG, Va. — The James Madison women's basketball team fell 87-67 to Towson Sunday afternoon at the Atlantic Union Bank Center. The Tigers improve to 18-5 (9-3 CAA) while the Dukes fall to 11-11 (7-4 CAA).
The Towson bench poured in 49 points while JMU's reserves added just four. The Tigers also held the advantage on the boards, pulling down 41 rebounds while holding the Dukes to a season-low 25.
Madison Green led JMU with a career-high 21 points as she shot 6-for-8 from long range.

Second Quarter: Towson 43, JMU 41
- Green went 3-for-4 from three-point range, including two back-to-back triples to put JMU on top, 23-22.
- The team continued to battle and trade leads until the Tigers led by two as they headed into the locker room.
Third Quarter: Towson 65, JMU 54
- The Tigers used a 13-2 run to give them the momentum to outscore JMU 22-13 in the third quarter.
- Despite being outscored, the Dukes shot 50% (6-12) from the floor following halftime.
Fourth Quarter: Towson 87, JMU 67
- Towson once again outscored JMU 22-13 in the final frame to secure the win.
- The Tigers shot 75% (9-12) in the last 10 minutes.
