The Dukes travel to Philadelphia on Wednesday, Feb. 16 for a 5 p.m. tip-off at Drexel.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams this season. The Dukes were supposed to play at Drexel on Jan. 2, but the game was postponed due to COVID protocols within both programs.
JMU arrives at the Daskalakis Athletic Center following an 87-67 loss to Towson on Sunday, Feb. 13 at home.
Madison Green led the Dukes with a career-high 21 points as she shot 6-of-8 (75%) from three-point range.
Leading JMU in scoring and ranking second in the conference is Kiki Jefferson with 18.9 points per game.
Jefferson has knocked down 127 foul shots thus far this season to rank sixth in the country in made free throws.
Jaylin Carodine leads the Dukes on the boards with 10.3 rebounds per outing. She is one of just two players in the conference averaging more than 10 rebounds a game. Â
JMU arrives in Philly shooting 37.7% from the floor, 25.9% from long range and 71.3% from the charity stripe.
 SCOUTING THE DRAGONS
Drexel enters Wednesday's matchup following a 2-0 weekend with wins over Hofstra (63-47) and Northeastern (61-46).
Keishana Washington averaged 20 points across the pair of wins. She leads t3he Dragons with 18.8 points per night.
Tessa Brugler adds 14.0 points per game for Drexel while leading the team in rebounds (8.7) and blocks (1.4).
Drexel is fifth in the country in assist turnover ratio (1.45) and fourth in the nation in fewest turnovers (297/11.3 per game).
The Dragons lead the conference in field goal percentage (42.9), free throw percentage (76.0) and assists (16.3 per game).
 SERIES HISTORY
JMU leads 29-15 in the all-time series against the Dragons.
The first meeting between the two programs came on Jan. 4, 2002 in Harrisonburg, where JMU won 90-76.
The Dukes are 10-9 when playing Drexel in Philadelphia.
The Dragons won the last matchup against JMU 79-76 in overtime on Mar. 12, 2021 in the semifinals of the CAA Tournament.
