HARRISONBURG, Va.- James Madison softball mustered up just two hits, as Eden Bigham and Virginia shut down the Dukes in six innings by a score of 11-0 on Tuesday evening at Veterans Memorial Park.

Cali Legzdin and
Kate Carrier were responsible for the two JMU (21-23, 7-11 SBC) hits, both singles in the second and sixth innings, respectively.
Bella Cabral put the exclamation mark on the game for Virginia (34-14, 13-8 ACC), going 3-for-4 with five RBIs, including a three-run home run to center field and a double to left.

Macee Eaton also recorded two hits, while driving in one for the Cavaliers.

Bigham went the distance for her 15th win in the circle, allowing just two hits over six scoreless innings while walking one and fanning four.
