JMU Finishes #17 in Final IWLCA Poll

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison lacrosse has earned the #17 ranking in the final IWLCA Division I Poll of the 2025 season, as announced Tuesday morning.
The Dukes made their 10th straight NCAA Championship appearance this spring. JMU was ranked as high as 11th in the IWLCA poll and ninth in the NCAA RPI throughout the season.
JMU's five setbacks this season only came at the hands of top-15 teams in the poll, while taking a win on Mar. 1 over top-ranked Florida 17-16, who finished fourth in the poll after making a final four appearance.
The Dukes closed the year at 14-5, and captured their first American Athletic Conference tournament Championship at the start of May.
