NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – A trio of James Madison lacrosse seniors have been selected to compete in the IWLCA Division I Senior All-Star game, the organization announced Wednesday morning.
Maggie Clark, Savannah Derey, and Adanya Moyer are three of 44 student-athletes from across DI assigned to either the Blue or White All-Star squad. The Dukes will compete on the Blue team, coached by former JMU lacrosse goalkeeper and current Delaware Head Coach Amy Altig ('05).
Serving as team captain this season, Clark started in every game in her final year at JMU, recording 15 ground balls and six caused turnovers while scoring 13 goals and providing five assists. The Bayport, N.Y. native was named a Second Team All-American Conference member following the regular season.
Derey, also a team captain, set single-season career highs with 54 goals and six assists for 60 points. She also produced eight ground balls and two caused turnovers. Derey posted 11 hat tricks, including one in each of the final five games of the regular season. She earned First Team All-AAC following the regular season, as well as an All-ACC Tournament Team selection after helping the Dukes to their first AAC Tournament title.

Like Derey, Moyer completed her best season as a senior, as she became the primary starter in the cage for the Dukes. Amassing a 9-3 record, Moyer set single-game career bests in saves (18 at Georgetown), save percentage (.625 vs. South Florida) and goals allowed (six vs. South Florida). The Silver Spring, Md. native finished the year with a 10.53 GAA and .469 save percentage. The DI All-Star game will take place on Tierney Field at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on May 31, 2025 at 3 p.m., following the division I and II games. Admission for all three games is free of charge and will not be streamed.
