First Team All-Conference Pitcher Allie Braly Joins Dukes

HARRISONBURG, Va. - Head Coach Loren LaPorte added an experienced arm to the James Madison softball pitching staff with the signing of transfer pitcher Allie Braly, as announced on Friday afternoon.

Braly spent the first two seasons of her career at Saint Francis, where she compiled a 2.96 earned run average over 165.2 innings pitched, collecting 16 wins in 45 appearances. On the tails of an NCAA Regional appearance, the Kansas City, Mo., product earned First Team All-NEC laurels to go with being named to the NEC All-Tournament team in 2025.

- First Team All-NEC selection
- Selected to the NEC All-Tournament Team
- Named NEC Prime Performer three times (2/25, 3/25, 4/22)
- Appeared in 29 games in the circle, with 27 starts
- Led the team in earned run average (3.06), opposing batting average (.263), wins (15), innings pitched (148.2), strikeouts (70), and games started (27)
- Her innings pitched and wins led the NEC, while her ERA ranked third
- She also posted top-10 marks in opposing batting average and strikeouts
- Twirled the first no-hitter of her career against Le Moyne on March 23 with a single-game career high seven strikeouts
- Pitched a shutout to clinch the 2025 NEC Championship against LIU on May 11
- Notched 17 complete games with three shutouts
- Started both of Saint Francis' games in the 2025 NCAA Bryan-College Station Regional
Freshman (2024):
- Appeared in 16 games
- Pitched to a 2.06 ERA in 17 innings with 15 strikeouts
- Had three saves, including in her collegiate debut against Siena on Feb. 9
- Earned the first victory of her career, going four innings and allowing one run on five hits with six strikeouts against CCSU on April 7
- On a Saint Francis team that won the NEC Championship to hold the No. 3 seed in the 2024 NCAA Austin Regional
High School:
- Four-year player at Raytown High School
- First Team All-Conference and District Utility Player as a freshman
- Represented the Kansas City Royals on the All-Star Jennie Finch Classic Team
- Also represented the Royals in the MLB Develops Breakthrough Series in Oklahoma City
