HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Athletics announced its full promotional schedule for the 2026-27 women's basketball season, presented by Dick Myers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. JMU women's basketball will host 15 regular-season games at the Atlantic Union Bank Center as they enter their fifth season as a member of the Sun Belt Conference.
JMU opens the home season against Central Connecticut State on Thursday, Nov. 5. Fans can go home with a team poster and schedule magnet, while supplies last.
After a trip to Blacksburg to take on Virginia Tech, the Dukes return home to face Navy on Wednesday, Nov. 11 during Veterans Day. Fans in attendance can claim a JMU dog tag from one of the marketing tables, while supplies last. Fans of JMU basketball can also take advantage of the MARTIN'S Canned Food Drive. Donate canned food items at MARTIN'S or the Atlantic Union Bank Center ticket office during the month of November for FREE tickets to the games against Bucknell and High Point!
LEGO to the Atlantic Union Bank Center on Sunday, Nov. 15, when the Dukes host East Carolina. Fans in attendance can walk away with a JMU women's basketball minifigure keychain, while supplies last. While visiting the marketing table, fans can also enter a raffle to go home with a LEGO set! This game marks the first of five Double Feature Deals. A game ticket to the 1 p.m. women's game will also be valid for the 4 p.m. men's game directly to follow!
After a long road stretch, the Dukes come home to take on Bucknell on Saturday, Dec. 5. The Dukes' matchup against the Bison marks the annual JMU women's basketball Puppy Pound Party. Members of the JMU Puppy Pound, presented by Chick-fil-A Harrisonburg, can register ahead of time to participate in a pregame party with catered Chick-fil-A!
Test your skills on the sticks on Sunday, Dec. 13 when, JMU hosts High Point for Wii Day. Fans in attendance can stop by the student lounge on the concourse during pregame to challenge each other in Wii Sports. Fans can also take home a limited-edition JMU women's basketball x Wii poster, while supplies last. This game marks the Community Coat Drive, presented by Anthem Blue Cross. Bring a new or lightly used coat to the Atlantic Union Bank Center and go home with a JMU basketball beanie, while supplies last!
It's Hoopsmas in Harrisonburg on Dec. 22 when the Dukes start home conference play against Georgia Southern. Those coming to the game can take home a special holiday-themed JMU basketball poster, while supplies last. This marks the second Double Feature Deals game. A ticket to the women's game at 12 p.m. will also be valid for the 3 p.m. men's game directly to follow!
The first JMU women's basketball home game of 2027 will be against Southern Miss on Wednesday, Jan. 6. Residents of The Valley can take advantage of discounted tickets for Community Day, presented by UVA Community Credit Union.
Take a trip back to the '90s and early 2000s when the Dukes take on Louisiana Tech on Jan. 9 for the Dukes"R"Us game! Fans in attendance can grab a custom JMU Rubik's Cube, while supplies last. The Invest529 Diaper Derby will also take place during halftime. This contest represents the team's first Duke Dog Reading Program (DDRP) game, presented by JMU's School of Professional & Continuing Education, where local elementary and middle school participants are invited to hit their reading goals and claim free tickets!
Sneaker Night returns to the AUBC on Thursday, Jan. 28, when JMU hosts Marshall. Those coming to the game can walk away with a pair of JMU shoelaces as well as a custom JMU Sneaker Night poster, while supplies last.
The Royal Rivalry, presented by TowneBank, returns to Harrisonburg on Saturday, Jan. 30 when the Dukes take on Old Dominion. Celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day with the Dukes on Saturday, Feb. 6 when they take on an opponent from the MAC Conference (to be named at a later date). Arrive early to grab a JMU squishy cube from one of the marketing tables on the concourse! Register for the NGWSD Clinic, presented by Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative, that will take place in the Convocation Center before the JMU women's basketball game. Participants of the clinic can claim a free ticket to the game following the conclusion of the clinic. Preregistration is required for the NGWSD Clinic. This game marks the team's second of two Duke Dog Reading Program (DDRP) games, presented by JMU's School of Professional & Continuing Education, where local elementary and middle school participants are invited to hit their reading goals and claim free tickets!

Fans can grab a pink rally towel at the marketing tables, while supplies last, and are encouraged to wear pink. While visiting the marketing tables, be sure to fill out an "I Play For" card to hold up during the game to show your support in the fight against breast cancer. This game is the fourth Double Feature Deals game where a ticket to the women's game at 2 p.m. will also be valid for the 5 p.m. men's game directly to follow!
The Dukes continue a home stretch when they host Coastal Carolina on Tuesday, February 23 for the Faculty & Staff Appreciation Game, presented by CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union! JMU faculty and staff can take advantage of FREE tickets, and all fans can feel the love with giveaways all game long for our Fan Appreciation Game, presented by Bojangles! This game marks the fifth and final Double Feature Deals game where a ticket to the women's game at 5 p.m. is also valid for the 8 p.m. men's game to follow.
