NEW ORLEANS, La. - For the third time this season, Kennedy Louisell was voted the Sun Belt Conference's Offensive Player of the Week.
The outside hitter tallied 68 kills during the 1-1 series split with Coastal Carolina last weekend. Louisell finished with 34 kills in both matches while recording a .372 hitting percentage. She has now posted four 30-plus kill performances this season, which is more than anyone else in the country.Â
Louisell also tallied double digit digs in both matches, posting 10 on night one and 12 the following day. She's now recorded nine double-double performances this season.Â
This marks the eighth time in her career that she earned SBC Offensive Player of the Week.Â
Currently, Louisell ranks third nationally in total kills (425) and fifth in kills per set (4.94).
The Dukes return to the Convocation Center to host ODU this Friday and Saturday for the final home matches of the 2026 season. Senior Day celebrations are scheduled to take place prior to Saturday's 1 p.m. match. Both matches are streaming live on ESPN+.
