- James Madison, fresh off an 81-79 overtime victory over Georgia State, welcomes the App State Mountaineers to the Atlantic Union Bank Center on Saturday, Feb. 14. Tip-off inside the AUBC is set for 4 p.m., with streaming available on ESPN+.Â
- JMU sits at 13-13 overall and 5-8 in Sun Belt play, while App State has won seven straight to sit at 18-9 overall and 10-4 in Sun Belt play. With the Mountaineers' 81-65 road win at Georgia Southern on Wednesday, they took over sole possession of first place of the Sun Belt standings with two weeks and change left of the regular season.Â

- Cliff Davis scored 26 points - including the go-ahead layup with eight seconds remaining - to lead James Madison to an 81-79 overtime win over Georgia State on Thursday night at the Atlantic Union Bank Center.Â
- JMU (13-13, 5-8 Sun Belt) led 70-66 with two minutes left in regulation but Georgia State (9-17, 6-7 SBC) scored four straight to force overtime. In the extra period, Davis finished at the rim with eight seconds left to break the tie and give the Dukes the win after a stop on the defensive end.

- Jelani Hamilton finished with 28 points and seven rebounds to lead Georgia State in both categories. Micah Tucker notched 20 points and led the Panthers with five assists, while Malachi Brown pitched in nine points and five rebounds.
