COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The James Madison women's golf team wrapped up its 2025-26 regular season at the Terps Invitational on Monday afternoon.
JMU's top finisher was
Bella Flores, who tied for 28th in the 90-player field with a three-round tally of 225 (+9). The sophomore carded rounds of 76-73-76 on the par-72, 6,244-yard University of Maryland Golf Course.
The Dukes finished 12th in a field of 16 teams in College Park with a 54-hole score of 916 (+53). JMU tallied rounds of 300-303-313. No. 37 Virginia took home the title, finishing two strokes ahead of No. 33 Kentucky with a score of 860 (-4).
Virginia's Jaclyn LaHa, ranked No. 40 nationally, took home individual medalist honors by tallying a 54-hole score of 211 (-5), one of two players to finish under par.
Freshman Klára Sionkova (72-76-78) continued her solid rookie campaign, tying for 34th at 226 (+10).
Grace Petzold (76-75-80) was JMU's No. 3 finisher, tying for 58th with a three-round tally of 231 (+15).
Freshman
Emerson Elm (234, +18) tied for 69th with rounds of 76-79-79, while
Amber Mackiewicz (243, +27) closed out the JMU lineup by placing 88
th.
The Dukes will prepare for the 2026 Sun Belt Championship, which is set for April 20-23 in Point Clear, Ala., at the Lakewood Golf Club. Coverage through all three rounds can be found on ESPN+ with Dan McDonald.
