Peyton McDaniel has inked a professional contract with Landerneau Bretagne Basket, as announced by the club on Wednesday.
LBB competes in the La Boulangère Wonderligue (LBWL), reaching the league quarterfinals in 2025-26. The Dukes are no strangers to the league, with Kamiah Smalls spending three years at ESB Villeneuve d'Ascq LM, where she helped the club reach the EuroLeague Women Final and capture the French LFB Championship during the 2023–24 season. McDaniel capped off her final season by leading the Dukes to their 11th conference tournament title and 14th appearance at the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship. At the Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship, the guard averaged 25.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest, while shooting 50.9% (28-of-55) from the field, 41.7% (10-of-24) from three-point range, and 90.0% (9-of-10) from the free throw line to be named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
The Birdsboro, Pa. native finished her career with the third-most points (2,325) and fourth-most rebounds (1,025) in program history. The sharpshooter also finished second in three-pointers (345) and tied for sixth in three-point percentage (35.0%).
McDaniel played in the second-most games of any player in program history, making 154 appearances. The veteran finished fourth in free-throw percentage (81.1%), while on the defense end, she finished eighth in career steals (186).
