HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison swimming & diving has announced the addition of two transfers to the 2026-27 roster, Head Coach
Dane Pedersen disclosed Wednesday afternoon.

Sophomore Aylén Velázquez Reyes joins the Dukes after spending a season at Bowling Green, while sophomore Zoe Wuerdeman transfers from Marshall.

"We specifically looked for divers in the transfer portal and couldn't be more excited about Zoe and Aylen," said Pedersen. "Not only are they extremely talented divers who will immediately contribute on all three disciplines, but they are outstanding individuals who will contribute and grow our team culture. Their additions bring our roster to six divers which we are really excited about. We can't wait to welcome them to our JMU community in the fall and see what they do."

Accomplishments: Swam at SABES San Isidro for two years… Won two silver medals at the Mexican Junior National Championships.

Class: Sophomore
Height: 5-1
Accomplishments: B Finalist in platform diving at 2026 American Championship... All-Conference selection in high school… Three-time AAU Summer Nationals qualifier.
