NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – James Madison lacrosse was recognized as a 2026 IWLCA Academic Squad, while seven student-athletes were selected to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced Wednesday.
The Dukes accrued a 3.469 team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year, well above the required criteria of a 3.2.
Earning Academic Honor Roll status were
Kaitlyn Carney,
Emily Evans,
Josie Pell,
Jordan Peterson,
Olivia Rongo,
Lauren Savage and
Aly Yee-Jenkins.
In order to be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a junior and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
It's the second straight year that Pell, Peterson, Rongo and Savage were honored while Carney, Evans and Yee-Jenkins garnered the award for the first time.
The IWLCA honored a total of 1,212 Division I student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll and 122 institutions across all collegiate divisions on the Academic Honor Squad.
