Twenty-Five Dukes Named to American Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team

IRVING, Texas – Twenty-five members of James Madison swimming and diving were named to the 2025-26 American Conference All-Academic Team, the conference announced on Wednesday, July 29.
The Dukes finished the spring semester with a team GPA of 3.681, the second-highest in the athletic department. 19 players were named to the Dean's or President's List, led by Emma Durham, Valerie Hardin, Emma LaFountain, Maddie O'Mera, and Tia Ormondryod on the President's List.
To be eligible for the honor, a nominee must have competed in an American-sponsored sport, attained a minimum grade-point average of 3.00 for the preceding academic year, and completed a minimum of two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters of academic work, with a total of 18 semester or 27 quarter credits, not including remedial courses.
