Former Duke Mekhi Rodgers Signs With Indianapolis Colts

WESTFIELD, Ind. – Former James Madison cornerback Mekhi Rodgers inked a contract with the Indianapolis Colts, as announced by the organization on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Rodgers spent the 2025 season at JMU, playing in 13 games with one start, registering eight tackles and a pass breakup. The native of Philadelphia came to the Dukes after spending his junior year at Saint Francis, where he started all 11 games at cornerback. Rodgers began his collegiate career at the Division III level as a standout member of Hobart's secondary, earning All-Liberty honors in 2023.
Rodgers joins former teammates Elijah Culp (CB - Arizona Cardinals), Jacob Thomas (S - Minnesota Vikings), Nick DeGennaro (WR - New England Patriots), and Xavier Holmes (LB - New England Patriots) on NFL training camp rosters as of Aug. 5.
