FIRST-CLASS FACILITIES
JMU women's tennis plays outdoors at the Hillside Courts, featuring six lighted competition courts in the middle of campus, making it readily accessible for anyone to attend home matches.
The courts were resurfaced most recently in 2017. Wind screen artwork and court logos were added in 2015 to improve the presentation of the facility.
The East Campus Tennis Courts, constructed in 2017, is the indoor hub for JMU tennis during the fall and winter months. The three-court facility features an asphalt playing surface and is covered by an inflatable "bubble" exterior with dual layer membrane construction with dielectrically welded seems.
The structure is supported by a dual-fan inflation and air circulation system with a generator backup and is illuminated by LED lighting.
