History of East Campus Tennis Courts
JMU's East Campus Tennis Courts provide year-round opportunities for skill development and NCAA competition. The indoor practice facility was first constructed in Winter 2017-18.
The men's and women's tennis programs compete inside the East Campus Tennis Courts prior to March 1 and on days with inclement weather. The three-court facility features an asphalt playing surface and is covered by an inflatable "bubble" exterior with dual layer membrane construction with dielectrically welded seems.
The structure is supported by a dual-fan inflation and air circulation system with a generator backup and is illuminated by LED lighting.

From the North:
-Take Exit 245 (Port Republic Road) from Interstate 81
-Turn left onto Port Republic Road
-At the second stoplight, turn left onto Forest Hill Road
-At the first stop sign, turn left onto University Blvd
From the South:
-Take Exit 245 (Port Republic Road) from Interstate 81
-Turn right onto Port Republic Road
-At the first stoplight, turn left onto Forest Hill Road
-At the first stop sign, turn left onto University Blvd
-Take Exit 245 (Port Republic Road) from Interstate 81
-Turn left onto Port Republic Road
-At the second stoplight, turn left onto Forest Hill Road
-At the first stop sign, turn left onto University Blvd
-There will be signage point fans towards D Lot where the East Campus Tennis Courts are located.
-Additional parking is located in A/B lots of the Convocation Center.
-Restrooms are located just outside of the entry of the entrance of the East Campus Tennis Facility.
-Additional restrooms are located inside of C Door of the Convocation Center.
-Upon entry of the East Campus Tennis Facility, bleacher seating is located on either side of the doors for patrons. Fans are NOT to walk across the courts to the opposite end of the entrance to avoid any conflicts with match play.
