The interactive event is free to the public. Fans can enter the stadium through Gate B and are encouraged to park in the Champions Drive parking deck, G-Lot and P-Lot for the quickest access to Bridgeforth (

This will be the first opportunity for fans to meet the 2017 JMU football team, as well as several other JMU sports teams. Activities and meet-and-greet opportunities will take place on Zane Showker Field.
While at the event, kids can register for theÂ
JMU Dukes Puppy Pound, presented by Chick-Fil-A. It will be the first opportunity for Puppy Pound members to pick up this year's t-shirt and membership card. Members of the Athletics Ticket Office staff will be in attendance to provide information on season and single-game ticket options. Fans can purchase tickets during Meet the Dukes.
There will be a photo station for fans to try on a JMU football helmet and shoulder pads, and the JMU inflatable bounce house and games will be set up for additional entertainment. JMU is also offering free raffles for prizes, which includes tickets to home games during the upcoming season.
Among other experiences, the JMU women's soccer, field hockey and men's soccer teams will be on hand to interact with fans in activity stations on the field.
"I thought it was an outstanding event last year and a great opportunity for our fans, alumni and the surrounding communities to meet and interact with our teams," JMU Head Football Coach
Mike Houston said. "I'm proud of the young men we have in our program. I want everyone in Harrisonburg to know the quality individuals they are. I'm really looking forward to this event."
Â
Additionally, there will be a Meet the Duke Club event, which will run throughout the duration of Meet the Dukes Day. The Duke Club will be set up at the entrance of Gate B in a sectioned-off area with light snacks and a cash bar. Registration is required, and each patron will receive two free drink tickets.
