RICHMOND, Va. – No. 17 James Madison field hockey (7-3) scored a season-high five goals in a 5-1 victory at Richmond (2-8) on Friday afternoon.

After the Spiders had the first goal of the afternoon, the Dukes shut them out for the final 55:11 of play. Junior Corey Mayer led the Dukes with a pair of goals and senior Hannah Hall tallied a season-high five points, having a hand in four of five scores.
