James Madison will host Towson in a Colonial Athletic Association matchup on Saturday, Jan. 12. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. in the Convocation Center.
Led by sophomore Darius Banks with 21 points, the Dukes took down College of Charleston, 69-58, last Saturday. Sophomore Dwight Wilson picked up a double-double, scoring 12 points while grabbing 10 rebounds, while sophomore Matt Lewis and senior Stuckey Mosley added 13 points apiece.
Three Dukes average double-digit scoring in 2018-19: Mosley (16.4), Lewis (15.1) and Banks (13.4).
JMU holds a 33-16 record when playing Towson and the Dukes are 20-4 on their home court.
The Tigers fell to Cornell in a non-conference contest on Wednesday, losing 86-74 in Towson, Md. Five players scored in double-figures: Tobias Howard (15), Brian Fobbs (12), Jordan McNeil (11), Nakye Sanders (11) and Allen Betrand (10).
Fobbs leads the Tigers averaging 15.6 points per game while Dennis Tunstall grabs 7.8 boards per contest to pace Towson on the glass.
