James Madison is set to host Northeastern in a Saturday afternoon Colonial Athletic Association matchup on Jan. 26. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. in the Convocation Center.
The Dukes lost to first-place Hofstra on Thursday night, falling 85-68 in the Convo. Senior Stuckey Mosley led JMU's offense with 19 points and eight rebounds. Three sophomore Dukes had double-digit scoring performances: Dwight Wilson (14), Matt Lewis (13) and Darius Banks (11).
Wilson led JMU in rebounding, grabbing nine boards as the Dukes out-rebounded the Pride, 35-27.
Northeastern holds the advantage in the series, posting a 18-7 all-time record against the Dukes. JMU dropped both games against the Huskies last season.
Towson edged the Huskies on Thursday, as Northeastern lost a tight CAA matchup, 75-72. In the loss, senior Vasa Pusica and junior Bolden Brace tallied 18 points apiece. Junior Jordan Roland also scored in double figures, adding 14 points on the night.
Northeastern had a season-low 22 rebounds against the Tigers.
