THE DUKES
- James Madison women's basketball will face VCU for the first time since 2012 with a Thursday night matchup at the Siegel Center.
- Last time out, senior guard Kiki Jefferson scored 12 points in the final quarter, including a perfect 10-of-10 from the line to lift the Dukes over Liberty, 67-63, on Nov. 23.
- JMU had four players score in double-digits points for the first time since last Feb. 18 against the College of Charleston. Jefferson led the way against the Cougars with 20, followed by Hazell (11) and former Dukes Jaylin Carodine (10) and Madison Green (10).
- With 20 points and 12 rebounds, Jefferson boasts 14 career double-doubles and three in her senior campaign. The guard's 20-point showing is her ninth straight scoring 20 or more, stretching back to last season.
- Jefferson finished 16-for-17 (94.1%) from the charity stripe, one free throw shy of tying Kirby Burkholder's program record. Burkholder knocked down 17-of-18 (94.4%) in the first round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament to bounce Gonzaga, 72-63, on March 23.
- The team is averaging 45.5 rebounds per game, good for 21st in the nation. Moreover, the Dukes have out-rebounded their opponents by +17.0 boards per game, the sixth-best mark in the country.
- Jefferson's strong start to the season places her eighth in the nation with 23.5 points per contest.
- Fans can watch Thursday's game on ESPN+ and listen on 92.1FM and 550AM WSVA with Corey Spector on the call.

The Rams closed out the Paradise Jam with a comeback victory over Wisconsin, 75-67.
