Kendall Turner secured a top-five finish as James Madison women's golf wrapped up the fall portion of its 2023-24 schedule with a 10th-place effort at The Ally, hosted by Mississippi State at the Old Waverly Golf Club and its par-72, 6,316-yard layout.

Turner finished tied for fifth out of 68 players after she carded a first-round 69 (-3) on Monday, followed by consecutive rounds of 71 (-1) and 75 (+3) for a three-round score of 215 (-1). With the performance, the redshirt senior has placed inside the top 15 in each of the team's five tournaments this fall.

In the 12-team field, JMU took 10th place with aggregate scores of 291-297-319. Florida captured the team title with a three-round score of 863 (-1), the only team to finish under par.

Amelia Williams posted a 54-hole score of 224 (+8) with rounds of 74-74-76 to tie for 26th, while
Julia Zigrossi, who competed as an individual, finished tied for 49th with a three-round score of 231 (+15).

Sophomore
Maria Atwood (75-73-85) and junior
Kayleigh Reinke (73-79-83) finished 56th and in a tie for 57th, respectively, while
Tatum Walsh rounded out the JMU contingent with a tie for 68th after posting rounds of 77-89-86.Â
