ANNAPOLIS, Md. – James Madison swim & dive fell in its dual meet against Navy, 157-129, on Saturday at Lejeune Hall.

The Dukes were able to place in multiple events, as
Jess Pryne took the lone victory with a win in the 200 IM while also placing in two more events.
Katelyn Fitzgerald,
Alexa Holloway and
Kate Vitolo joined her as Dukes to place in multiple events.

Diving
- Holloway and Vitolo finished in second and third respectively on the 3-meter board. Holloway notched an NCAA Zone qualifying score of 287.40 while Vitolo recorded a score of 265.05.
- On the 1-meter, the two Dukes switched places with Vitolo finishing in second and Holloway in third. Vitolo recorded an NCAA Zone qualifying score of 274.13, while Holloway scored a 264.08.

Individual
- Fitzgerald gave the Dukes a second-place finish to begin individual swimming events by swimming a time of 10:25.98 in the 1000 Free. She then placed third in the 500 Free with a time of 5:07.48.
- In the 100 Back, Madison Cottrell swam a time of 56.30 to take second place.
- Pryne won the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.45, and also placed second in the 200 Fly with a time of 2:06.08 and third in the 200 Back with a time of 2:04.44.
- Also placing in the 200 IM with Pryne was Cameron Gring, finishing in third place behind a time 2:08.44.
- Recording a time of 2:22.28, Riley Bridgman finished third in the 200 Breast.

Relays
- The team of Sydni Diehl, Bridgman, Cottrell and Jamie Cornwell finished third with a time of 1:44.14 in the 200 Medley Relay.
- In the 200 Free Relay, the Dukes took third with a time of 1:35.69 from the team of Grace Bousum, Cottrell, Alex Volk and Cornwell.

The Dukes will remain on the road and face Richmond in a dual meet on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 11 a.m. The meet will serve as JMU's final competition before heading to the Sun Belt Conference Championships on Feb. 14-17 in Orlando, Fla.
