HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison swim & dive has unveiled its schedule for the 2026-27 season, Head Coach
Dane Pedersen announced on Tuesday morning.
JMU will begin its season on Oct. 16, traveling to Lynchburg for a tri-meet with Liberty and Rutgers. The Dukes will remain on the road to close out October, competing in a dual meet against Marshall in Huntington on Oct. 30.
James Madison opens November with a tri-meet at Georgetown with the Hoyas and Johns Hopkins. The Dukes will conclude their fall schedule at the Navy Invitational in Annapolis on Nov. 19-21.
JMU will compete in a pair of dual meets in January, hosting Richmond in the Savage Natatorium on Jan. 15 and traveling up to Annapolis to take on Navy on Jan. 22. The team will split up following the dual meet, with the divers trekking to Blacksburg for the Virginia Tech invitational from Jan. 29-31 and the swimmers heading to Charlottesville for the Cavalier invitational from Feb. 4-6.
The American Conference Championships will be held in Lynchburg, VA at the Liberty Natatorium from Feb. 17-20. Less than a week later, the swimmers will compete in the ECAC Championships from Feb. 26-28 at a location to be determined. Qualified divers will compete in the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships at a to-be-determined location from March 8-10.
