Jones Earns American Weekly Award

IRVING, Texas – James Madison redshirt junior Natalie Jones was named the American Conference Diving Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The Dukes began their season this past Saturday with a tri-meet, defeating La Salle, 177-122, and Drexel, 179-120.
Jones was a crucial part of the pair of wins from the diving side of the Dukes, winning the 3-meter board with a score of 266.65. She also finished second on the 1-meter board, scoring an NCAA Zone qualifying score of 279.30.
JMU will be back in the pool on Saturday, Nov. 1 when it hosts Marshall in a dual meet inside Savage Natatorium.
