DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2025 Division I Women's Basketball All-ECAC Teams and major award winners, with
Peyton McDaniel of James Madison women's basketball being named to the Second Team, announced by the conference on Thursday morning.

Harvard 's Harmoni Turner was voted Player of the Year. Gal Raviv from Quinnipiac was named Rookie of the Year, and Aaron Roussell of Richmond won Coach of the Year.

McDaniel – the 2025 Sun Belt Player of the Year – has helped lead the Dukes to a 30-5 (18-0 SBC) record, the most wins in program history. The guard has averaged 16.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, registering 14 double-doubles for a JMU squad that is set to take on Belmont in the WBIT Quarterfinals on Thursday, March 27.
