REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONS, THIRD STRAIGHT 20-WIN SEASON
- James Madison finished the 2024-25 campaign with a 20-12 record, its third straight season with 20-plus wins.
- It is the first time the Dukes have tallied three consecutive 20-win seasons since 1992-94 under Lefty Driesell.
- Since joining the Sun Belt before the 2022-23 season, JMU has 74 total wins, 11 more than any other team in the conference (Troy, 63).
- The Dukes' winning percentage of 73.3 over that same span also paces the league, nearly 10 percent higher than Troy (63.6).

FREEMAN, LINDSAY COLLECT MAJOR SUN BELT AWARDS
- Following the regular season, guards Mark Freeman and Bryce Lindsay took home major awards from the Sun Belt.
- Freeman was named Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-Sun Belt, while Lindsay was tabbed the conference's Freshman and Sixth Man of the Year along with Third Team All-Sun Belt.
- Freeman, who joined Spradlin at JMU following a two-year stint at Morehead State, averaged 15.8 and 3.1 assists per game while scoring 10 or more 24 times, 20-plus nine times, and 30 or more three times.
- He concluded his collegiate career with a 34-point performance against Troy in the Sun Belt semifinals, tied for the second-most points by a JMU player in the postseason in program history (Darren McLinton, 1996)
- Lindsay shot a robust 40.8 percent (87-of-213) from three – which led the Sun Belt. He finished the season averaging 13.4 points per contest – the fifth-highest by a JMU freshman in program history.
- Lindsay also broke the program record for made three-pointers by a freshman – surpassing Kent Culuko, who made 80 in the 1991-92 season.

CONTINUED DOMINANCE IN SUN BELT, AT HOME
- Along with finishing the season with 20 wins, JMU recorded 13 conference wins – including 10 straight from Jan. 22 to Feb. 28. The streak of 10 consecutive conference wins was just the third occurrence in program history, also doing it in the 2023-24 and 1989-90 seasons.
- Since joining the Sun Belt in 2022-23, the Dukes have won no less than 12 league games and are 40-14 (.740) in conference games.
- JMU also finished 13-2 at home, improving its record to 55-14 inside the Atlantic Union Bank Center since the building before the 2020-21 season.

WINNING DNA
- Preston Spradlin became just the second first-year head coach in program history to win at least 20 games, joining Matt Brady (21) in the 2008-09 season.
- Dating back to his time at Morehead State, Spradlin has won 20+ games in the last five seasons. Since 2020-21, Spradlin is 114-52 (.686) overall with three regular-season conference championships (2 OVC, 1 Sun Belt) and two conference tournament titles (2020-21, 2023-24).
- With the Dukes' share of the 2024-25 regular-season SBC title, Spradlin has won three straight regular-season crowns dating back to Morehead. He took the Eagles to the NCAA Tournament twice; in 2020-21 and 2023-24.
