HARRISONBURG, Va. – Following a strong semester in the classroom, James Madison Athletics announced that 269 student-athletes were named Athletic Director's Scholar-Athletes for the Spring 2025 term.
This is a jump of 71 honorees from the fall when 198 Dukes were recognized. It's also the highest number of AD Scholar-Athletes over the past four years, beating the Spring 2024's 258 selections.
Student-athletes achieving a minimum GPA of at least 3.0 in consecutive semesters while being enrolled full-time at the university receive the accolade in a given term. Both active and exhausted eligibility student-athletes who meet the requirements are eligible for the award.
