COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –
Alice Roeper received national recognition on Thursday morning, being named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Watchlist, powered by Performance Sports Events (PSE).
Â
Roeper, the 2024 Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Year and an NFHCA All-South Region First Team Selection, is set for a strong senior campaign after posting 15 goals and five assists for 35 points a season ago. The captain has tallied 23 goals in her JMU career and needs 13 more to crack the program's top-15 scoring ladder. Roeper was one of 14 student-athletes from the Mid-American Conference to be honored in the watchlist.
Â
This list is intended to showcase those field hockey student-athletes with the strongest potential for consideration to the current year's NFHCA All-Region and All-American teams. To be nominated for the 2025 NFHCA Watchlist, student-athletes must have been previously recognized for their outstanding field hockey abilities within the past two years (NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-American, All-Conference, Senior Nexus Championship selection, NCAA All-Tournament Team, and/or U.S. National or International Team roster) and nominated by their NFHCA member coach.
