COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – James Madison hockey collected 2025 NFHCA Division I
National Academic Team Award honors, the organization announced on Tuesday morning.

This prestigious acknowledgment is granted to programs that have achieved an exceptional team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year.
The Dukes posted a 3.590 fall GPA to garner National Academic Team status for the second time since 2021 and the seventh time since Head Coach
Christy Morgan returned to the JMU sideline in 2014.

Monmouth impressively led all Division I schools, securing the top spot with an overall team GPA of 3.84. Close behind, Michigan State and VCU collectively claim second place, each attaining a commendable team-average GPA of 3.79.
