DUKES BEGIN STRETCH RUN AT COASTAL ON WEDNESDAY
- James Madison men's basketball is set to embark on its final road trip of the regular season with a tilt against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers on Wed., Feb. 18, in Conway, S.C. at 7 p.m.
- JMU has won three straight games and enters Wednesday with a record of 14-13 (6-8 Sun Belt). Coastal Carolina is 16-11 (8-6 Sun Belt) after most recently taking down Louisiana 69-65 on Thurs., Feb. 12.
- After Wednesday's game, the Dukes will head to Atlanta, Ga., to take on Georgia State on Sat., Feb. 21.
LAST TIME OUT: DUKES STIFLE MOUNTAINEERS, 69-58
- Justin McBride scored 21 points and James Madison held App State to 35.2 percent shooting from the field in a 69-58 win over the Mountaineers on Saturday, Feb. 14 at the Atlantic Union Bank Center in Harrisonburg, Va.
- The win gave JMU its first win against App State since Feb. 4, 2023 and first home win against the Mountaineers since Nov. 22, 2017. The Dukes got 11 points from Cliff Davis and 10 from Bradley Douglas and finished with a season-low five turnovers.
- McBride's 21 points marked the junior's 10th game this season with 20 or more points – making him the first JMU player since Terrence Edwards Jr. in 2023-24 with 10 20-point games in the same season.
- Luke Wilson and Alonzo Dodd each scored 18 points to lead the Mountaineers' scoring output. App State finished just 19-of-54 (.352) from the floor and 6-of-28 (.214) from behind the arc, while also going just 14-of-24 (.583) from the charity stripe.

- 42: JMU freshman Christian Brown finished with a block Thursday against Georgia State, bringing his 2025-26 season total to 42. He is now second on the JMU all-time freshman list for blocks, trailing only Andre Nation (47, 2012-13).
- 84: JMU guard Cliff Davis made six threes against Georgia State on Thursday, leading the Dukes with 26 points. Davis has 84 three-pointers this season, leading the Sun Belt and ranking eighth the JMU single-season threes list, needing one to tie Stuckey Mosley's 2017-18 output.
