HARRISONBURG, Va. – The James Madison volleyball program announced a pair of signings to fill out its 2026 roster, Head Coach
Lauren Steinbrecher announced on Tuesday.Â

The Dukes have officially signed setter Ava Peters (UT-Martin) and outside hitter Keira Mullen (Daemen) to aid agreements. Both players will have three years of eligibility left beginning with the 2026 season.

UT Martin (2025):
- Played in 29 matches and 102 sets as a freshman at UT Martin
- Finished with 823 assists (8.07 per set) and 180 digs (1.76 per set)
- Also tallied 42.0 blocks and 112.0 points.
- Season-high 52 assists vs. Lamar (9/13), also recording 10 assists for a double-double.
- Finished with five double-doubles
- Four matches with 40 or more assists, including 15 with 30-plus
- Finished with a season-high 6.0 blocks and four aces against SIUE (10/18)
- Ohio Valley Conference Setter of the Week (9/15)
- OVC Freshman of the Week (9/22), making her the eighth player in program history to take home the award

Daemen (2025):
- Played in all 26 matches as a freshman at Daemen, a Division II school in New York
- Led the Wildcats with 296 kills (3.18 per set)
- Totaled 344.0 points (3.70 per set) and hit .227
- Also had 47.0 blocks and 21 service aces.
- Three matches with 20-plus kills – St. Thomas (10/11), D'Youville (10/22), and St. Thomas (11/08)
- Recorded three double-doubles: 14 kills and 10 digs against Holy Family (9/19), 20 kills and 14 digs vs. St. Thomas (10/11), and 10 kills and 11 digs vs. Molloy (11/21)
- Overall, had 16 matches with double-digit kills.

- Plans to major in Health Sciences and wants to get a doctorate in physical therapy.
