GREENWOOD, Ind.  – James Madison forward
Gabe Newhof was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) All-District team on Tuesday afternoon.

Newhof spent his senior season at JMU after transferring from Spring Arbor University, where he played in and started all 33 games for the Dukes. He averaged 8.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, including 10 games in double figures. He scored a season-high 20 points against Washington & Lee.

The native of Hudsonville, Mich., will graduate with a degree in Individualized Studies. He finished the Fall 2025 semester with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average and was named to the President's List. He is the first Duke sine Mezie Offurum to be named to the Academic All-District team.Â

To qualify for All-District honors, a student-athlete must maintain a grade-point average of 3.50 or better and compete in at least 90% of the institution's matches OR have started at least 66% of the institution's games.
