Melville to Represent Puerto Rico in International Friendly

HARRISONBURG, Va – Former James Madison men's soccer midfielder Aidan Melville has been called up to represent Puerto Rico on the Senior National Team for an international friendly against Saudi Arabia on Friday, June 5 at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas.
The Portland, Maine native spent his final two seasons of collegiate play at JMU, playing in 30 matches with eight starts from 2024-25. He scored five points on two goals and an assist, but they all came at the biggest of moments.
His first goal as a Duke was a 76th-minute game-winner to take down No. 14 Georgetown during the 2024 season at home. He then provided the primary assist on the game-winning goal against third-seeded UCF in that season's Sun Belt Conference quarterfinal match. In 2025, he netted a 53rd-minute goal to secure a 1-1 draw for the Dukes with fifth-ranked Princeton.
