JMU Athletics Announces Promotional Schedule for 2026 Field Hockey Season

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Athletics announced its full promotional schedule for the 2026 field hockey season. The Dukes will host five regular-season games at the JMU Field Hockey Complex in the program's third season as an affiliate member of the Mid-American Conference.

The Dukes begin their home season on Sept. 6 at 12 p.m. when they take on Liberty. Help the Dukes rally for the valley against their in-state foe with a rally towel giveaway!

The season continues on Sept. 27 at 12 p.m. when the Dukes host Kent State for a Field Hockey Fall Fest! Fans in attendance can enjoy lawn games throughout the game. Students can enter the raffle for their chance to win a student-exclusive prize, courtesy of JMU Athletics! Stick around after the game for postgame autographs and receive a signature from your favorite JMU Field Hockey student-athletes.

JMU returns home on Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. when they welcome Bellarmine to Harrisonburg. Help us support the fight against breast cancer during our Gretta Ehret Dream Crazy Foundation game! Show your support during the game and grab your pink JMU Field Hockey wristband, while supplies last!

Help us celebrate Senior Day on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. when the Dukes take on Central Michigan! We will be celebrating the 2026 JMU Field Hockey senior class with a special recognition.

The Dukes will wrap up their home campaign on Friday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. when they take on App State. Help us recognize our 2026 JMU Field Hockey Most Valuable Professors during the CommonWealth One Faculty and Staff Appreciation game! We will be recognizing the JMU Field Hockey Most Valuable Professors with a special recognition at halftime.

All of the Dukes' games at the Field Hockey Complex are free admission.
