- 11th season as head coach of the men’s golf program.
- 2008-09 CAA co-Coach of the Year.
- Nine men’s team tournament titles heading into the 2015-16 season.
- Has had 15 All-CAA performers on the men’s team during his career.
- Previously coached the JMU women’s golf team from 1996-99.
- During his tenure, the women’s team had three top-five finishes at the ECAC Tournament.
- Former four-year golfer at JMU and member of the 1991 NCAA Tournament team.
- Two-time winner of the Heath Award.
- Played golf at the professional level on five tours.
- Won one event, had five top-five finishes and 12 top-10 performances during his professional tenure.
- Helped design and develop Packsaddle Ridge Golf Course in Harrisonburg, Va. which was recognized in 2003 by Golf Digest as the fifth-best new golf course in the nation.
- Earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from JMU.
