Carole Miller was named a Graduate Assistant for James Madison women's basketball on Aug. 29, 2024.

Miller spent her final year of eligibility in Harrisonburg last season where she played in all 35 games, making eight starts while averaging 4.6 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Prior to her time as a Duke, the guard appeared in 84 games for Virginia with 67 starts.

The Edison High School product was ranked as the No. 82 player in the country by ESPN and No. 21 at her position on signing day. Additionally, she scored over 1,000 points in her career at Edison and helped lead the Eagles to back-to-back VHSL Class 5 state titles, while averaging 20 points and nine rebounds during her senior campaign.

Miller graduated from UVA in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. She is currently pursuing her master’s in sport and recreation leadership.
